Research contacts and cooperation
Our research team in Jyväskylä is part of a new Euopean-wide network on sociolinguistics and super-diversity. The network aims at creating a European platform for advanced research in sociolinguistics. It lays the foundations for a strong and prominent European node in an emerging worldwide network of scholarship on multilingualism in the context of globalization.
The network engages in retheorization of sociolinguistic diversity, seeks joint funding for, develops and conducts comparative, complementary and collaborative research ventures on sociolinguistic diversity in selected everyday, educational, and media contexts.
